Primary objectives of the Kurt Lewin Center for Psychological Research

The main objectives of the Center are:

  • to gather, file, store, draw up and provide access to any documents concerning the life and works of Kurt Lewin, who was born in Mogilno – a land inhabited by a multicultural community;
  • to gather, store and provide access to any scientific studies on Lewin’s psychology;
  • to organize symposia, conferences and any other scientific meetings on Lewin’s psychology therein "Lewinianum", an international scientific conference on Lewin’s psychology, held in Bydgoszcz and Mogilno cyclically every three years;
  • to publish scientific and academic studies concerning the life and scientific output of Kurt Lewin and his successors;
  • to promote psychology initiated by Kurt Lewin amongst scientists, students of social sciences as well as practitioners;
  • to conduct research into the application of Lewin’s psychology in solving contemporary problems of social life to be carried out by a research group gathered round the Center.
