- General information The International Conference: Kurt Lewin Contribution to Contemporary Psychology (September 2004) The main conference events were be held in Mogilno, the town where Kurt Lewin was born on September 9th, 1890. The conference offered ample opportunities for lively exchange among scholars, students, practitioners, and people interested in Lewin’s work and in his contribution to psychological theory, methodology and practice. Additionally, local authorities has funded the Kurt Lewin’s commemorative plaque and organized the ceremony of it’s unveiling during conference. A special exhibition devoted to Kurt Lewin and his family was organized by the Regional Museum in Mogilno. Mr. Jacek Krasny, the Mayor of the City of Mogilno, decided to provide commemorative medals for all the participants of our conference.
